Students learn how to take their initial ideas and transform them into structured poems. Through writing prompts and creative exercises, participants explore imagery, metaphor, simile, repetition, rhyme, rhythm, and other literary techniques.

Hip-hop becomes the classroom.
Students explore rhyme, rhythm, wordplay, storytelling, metaphors, similes, and lyrical structure while learning how to transform their ideas into powerful verses.

Students look at their neighborhoods through a creative lens and explore what makes their communities special, what challenges they face, and what they hope to see in the future.
Participants turn their observations and experiences into poetry, narratives, and collaborative writing.

Students learn how to transform personal experiences, ideas, and emotions into spoken-word pieces. The workshop introduces performance techniques including voice, pacing, emphasis, rhythm, presence, and audience connection.
